Numanthia 2016
Red wine from the Numanthia winery, under the D.O. Toro. It is made from grapes from old vineyards of about 100 years old. The harvest is done manually, when the grape is at its optimum ripeness point. After a rigorous selection in the vineyard, the grapes are transferred to the winery in small boxes to preserve their optimal state. Once in the winery, the grapes are stepped on in a traditional way. After fermentation at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
