LA VANIDOSA CRIANZA 2020
Rosé wine from the D. Mateos winery, under the DO Rioja. Manual selection of grapes. Fermentation at low temperature, with part of stems and uncrushed grapes, with several days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation takes place spontaneously.

Pairing
Lively, bright and deep, with a medium-high layer.
Intense and ripe, with a certain spicy touch, typical of the Grenache of the area: Notes of liquorous black fruit and a well-integrated perfumed wood.
Tasty and sweet, with a certain mineral touch, well-integrated sweet tannins, certain vegetal nuances that cleanse the mouth and a long and balanced finish, with clean and fresh wood.
Pairing
White meats, legume stews, tapas, mushrooms, rice with meat, sausages and cured cheeses. Ideal with grilled lamb chops.

100% Grenache from centuries-old vineyards planted in glass on the slopes of Mount Yerga. This vineyard was pardoned by Mateo Ruiz even knowing that it gave a minimal yield, but with the confidence that on its own it could make an exceptional wine. The wine undergoes a 15-month aging process in new fine-grain French Allier and Nevers oak barrels, with a toasting specially created for this wine together with the cooper.
