This limited edition is a tribute to the birth of Viña Pomal in 1908, coinciding with the 2010 vintage, a historic vintage in Bodegas Bilbainas and classified as excellent by the Regulatory Council of the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin. For its production, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature and macerated for 23 days. It is aged for 20 months in American oak barrels. Red wine from Cune winery, under the D. O. La Rioja. The grapes from which Contino Reserva is born come from vineyards of Finca San Rafael, which are located in the municipality of Laguardia, in La Rioja Alavesa. The grapes for this wine are harvested manually and small boxes are used to transport the bunches to the winery. In this way, it is ensured that the grains do not break prematurely and lose their qualities. In the winery, the grapes are selected on selection belts and subsequently fermented in 12,000-liter stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 28ºC and 30ºC.
