Red wine from Protos winery, under the D. O. Ribera del Duero. The Protos Crianza has been made with a blend of different plots of Tempranillo to achieve a more real and complex expression. The vineyards have an average age of about 35 years. The 14-month aging has been carried out in new and used French and American oak barrels in equal parts. Once the oxidative aging is finished, it rests for another 14 months in the bottle.

High aromatic intensity, with the aroma of ripe fruits well assembled with the wood that provides aromas of sweet spices and pleasant toasts.

Boca

Enveloping, tasty, balanced, with finesse and pleasant maturity. End of mouth with hints of ripe fruit.



Pairing

Roasted vegetables and meats, carpaccio, bean stew, chorizo, Iberian ham, seafood with garlic. Service at 15ºC-16ºC.

Red wine from Protos winery, under the D. O. Ribera del Duero. The Protos Roble has been made from a blend of different Tempranillo 25-year-old plots, in order to offer the maximum expression of the terroir. The harvest is done manually in boxes of 20 kilograms. Once the fermentation is over, the wine rests for 6 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by another 6 months in the bottle.
