WHAT IS AN AGED WINE?

Have you ever heard this term? If you want to know what it is about, keep reading this blog.

The first thing you have to know is that all wines evolve inside the bottle and have a duration of time. There are some that evolve faster than the others. what does this depend on? Whether or not the wine went through wooden barrels and how long it was there to age. The wines that we can keep are only those that say on the label as Crianza or Reserve. If the wine did not go through wooden barrels, then it is not a wine for aging.

They are called young wines and they tend to go bad much faster than wines that have gone through oak. They last in bottle from 3 to 5 years. On the other hand, aged wines can last 10, 15 or 20 years depending on the wine and the time must be counted from the date that appears on the label or the day you bought it.
